well you all know me by now and that my love for everything japanese is growing rapidly by the day, even more so now...

saturday night just gone, tokyo dandy produced a 'ONE NIPPON' party to support the earthquake and tsunami victims. rather than paying to get into the venue, guests were asked to donate at least 3 items. From the looks of it, the party was a great success.I guess everyone, like myself, loves a good cause and loves a good party!

there's no way to describe the feeling of looking down at your hand, seeing your dream diamond ring and remembering that you don't have to give it back to a lady behind a counter. it no longer lives in a shop, it lives at your house, on your hand, you can look at it for hours on end, learn to become left handed even... what makes it even better? knowing that the love of your life hunted it down after you pointed it out 3 years ago, because he knew that nothing would compare...

diamonds sparkle like colours of the rainbow...

i have always been intrigued with rainbows, their rarity (esp the double rainbow featured below), their beauty and the thought of a pot of gold isn't such a bad thought either... 

it didn't feel how i expected it to, to finally find the truth...there is no gold *gasps all round*

but it has to go down in my top 10 memorable moments of actually driving through the end of a rainbow. etta james blaring through the speakers, the smell of rain and you couldn't wipe the smile off my face...looking down at the 8 hour old engagement ring on my finger from the night before, i couldn't have been happier.

the ever so perfect accessory i am slowly coming to terms with, that i will never ever afford...

the events of my daylesford sunday...

one beautiful sunny day and a trip to daylesford with my man resulted in the below...

1 x pinky/orange, frilly vintage shorts! yes...amazing

1 x burnt orange stretch velveteen vintage skirt (say that 3 times fast)

1 x dark purple, very unique hand knitted beanie

2 x vintage crystal pink shot glasses (these were most definitely a necessity)

6 x crystals in which i intend to make some cool necklaces

3 x compliments on my outfit, all from unexpected parties

1 x tandoori chicken pizza for lunch which resulted in bad garlic breath for the remainder of the afternoon

unlimited x looks from lesbians due to my haircut i'm assuming

so needless to say i'm feeling pretty hot today, haha...if only canon would get their arses into gear to send me my replacement battery charger for my camera I would have done my first outfit post to show you why i caused such a scene amongst the rainbow lovers..
