ok, well it's been a while since my last shoegasm,  if my memory serves me correctly it was over some JC's. but i just had another one! *random leg spasm from excitement*. thanks to the amazing instagram i found these beauties. artist Taylor Reeve who's etsy shop is called TAYLOR SAYS, sells these ah-mazing hand painted heels. she will customise them to look however you want. what better way to show some flair, than with custom skull shoes. come to think of it, i'm not sure why i'm sharing this love before i save up for my pair first. red glittery skull pumps: that's my kind of 'there's no place like home'

who am i?

i was born in april 1987 in england, i have 2 younger siblings. i was teased at high school for having small breasts and full lips (which are now part of my appeal). i was picked up by a uk modelling agency and started modelling at the age of 16. In 2006 I was picked up by a world renown lingerie brand. in 2008 i replaced agnyess deyn in Burberrys winter/fall campaign. i was voted worlds sexiest woman by a mens magazine and have recently started acting and landed a roll on the latest transformers..

what every woman should know..

some serious internet hunting for my perfect wedding shoes, i found exactly what i was looking for-they were a sold out style everywhere. the hunt continued and i just happened to find 1 pair on ebay in my size (meant to be:hell yeah)

two problems:

1- three weeks after i received them, ZU shoes had done an exact rip off (many curses gone their way trust me)

2- they were a 5 inch heel which would make me the same height as my lovely finance for the big day. hmm not how it goes in my head

what to do you ask? well as much as i would love to take credit for this idea, it was definitely my mans. he simply turned to me while i was whinging and said 'why don't you get them cut down?'. my response was simple...laughter. 'like he would know if that was possible, and i've never thought or heard of that' -these words were running through my head while i blushed and huffed around the house wondering if he was right or not.

so after he went to work i drove them straight down to the local cobbler and found out that for $50 i could get them cut down to a 3 inch heel. PERFECTO

i know what your thinking, but i did fess up and admit he was right, it was definitely worth it for my perfect shoes. i've since lost my hatred towards zu shoes, so long as no-one wears the same shoes to the wedding i'll remain in a nice calm place about it all :-)

i feel it is my duty as a woman to share this knowledge, please do the same to your fellow lady friends.

lanie lane: apart from having one of the best names I've heard since Portia De Rossi (AKA Amanda Rogers), this Sydney based florist turned songstress has such a beautiful old fashioned sound. 

good music to me is anything that makes me feel good, and by golly, lanie makes me want to pull out a vintage dress, wear my red lipstick, get some more tattoos and belt out a tune.

karl lagerfeld has just showcased his spring summer 12 collection (and yes Florence Welch played) and has stuck true to the chanel we expect to see. 

though it's often not what people want to see, I feel many brands often lose their identity by shy-ing away from who they are.karl  stuck to the chanel roots with this collection.
