well, we are all familiar with dip dye hair (AKA- a great way to cut back on hairdresser costs). it's well and truly turned into a season of coloured hair, both dip dye and all over
it's certainly not for me, but does make my favourite pastime ' lunchtime people watching' much more enjoyable.
well, Miuccia Prada just keep upping the anti. the prada SS12 collection was certainly revving my engine. especially these hot kicks. umm, flames coming out between miniature reverse lights on a pair of heels..YES PLEASE
actually her entire collection had a 'retro women and cars' theme. the show space was transformed into a garage, it sported hot pink oil slicks and retro foam cars..
for those of you who know me, this is right up my alley..
i've been eagerly waiting for the return of the bumbag purely for the practical side of things..i did purchase one in barcelona 2 years ago in anticipation (not your old school typical bumbag, i swear)
though this amazing alternative i could definitely bust out without the death stares from fashionistas..
well we have all seen the return of the 'peter pan collar'. i have been raiding my collection of clothes (the ones that i took out and threw in my spare room a year ago to fit in my new ones), and have managed to re 'find' about 3 of these little wonders. 2 of my fav style icons are regularly spotted rocking them, and so have i been of late..love it!
check out this little treat i found on etsy, to top it off, she's only $25. click here to purchase your very own forrest ring, AKA 'a great way to escape from your everyday life'. simply look down and imagine your on the set of twilight with jacob giving you a topless hug (though in my eyes, it's not quite PG rated..)
if you had to choose one song that you loved to sing at the top of your lungs with your girlfriends in your teens, while jumping on your bed (scrunchie in hair, slouch socks on your feet)
i feel it would have to be either of the following:
1: never ever-all saints (especially attempting the talking part with your best British accent)
2: don't let go-en vogue (cushion down your pants trying to give yourself some serious black booty)
well apparently the rockstars of today aren't too different to us after all. see for yourself..
thanks to a lovely gay friend *cough* JOSH *cough*, for teaching me that gay teenage boys also did the same..
well we all know that men are just boys in disguise right? but do the same rules apply for women?
something just clicked inside me when i first laid eyes upon these little retro 70's light up doll houses. they have simply thought of everything. you can purchase the big pieces like an empty house, or starter kits with a bit of furniture already. but where they really suck you in (like snickers bars at a supermarket check out), is with all of the furnishings. from persian rugs, pools, curtains, eames replica chairs, lava lamps, a bunny hutch complete with bunnies, down to cutlery and crockery, hell even the 'grey haired grandparents' can come over for a visit.
