the good ol' dunlop volley dates back to 1939. the dunlop team have embarked on a unique search for the best 'well-worn' volleys. in their words they were looking for volleys 'loved to death', they were looking for rare styles that had been lost and forgotten.

the colour of my first car...

the colour yellow generally reminds me of my first car-a 1976 volkswagen beetle that i had the choice of spraying any colour i wanted. lucky for me i couldn't afford the metallic blue/purple colour i originally chose *spew*. this colour was my second option. it's nice to see that Michael Kors and i are on the same wave length... 10 years later

i know mum is always with me now...

happy mothers day to all of the lovely mothers out there

there has been so much doubt in my mind since my mum passed away 2 years ago as to whether or not she is 'always with me' as people say. i do feel as though it's a nice thought to have, however it's not enough for me. so i went and got my fav photo of my mum tattooed on me so i 'know' that she is always with me now. in fact in the photo you can see she is listening to my heart, and she has sparkles on her shoes like on the wizard of oz. (click your heels 3 times and you can go home) there is something so comforting about this to me.

 from days like my wedding day, i can just look down and see her, when i have my children, she will be there with me the entire time, down to the irrelevant times you just want your mum there to make everything seem better.

happy mothers day mum, i miss you so much every day and would give anything just for one more hug

while getting my weekly creep on some of my fav sites and blogs, I was creeping http://elementeden.com/ and came across these images. this immediately got me going as I have been on the prowl for some cool old locks to make necklaces of my own with. hard finding ones that i love the look of that aren't too heavy. i do wonder how heavy these bad boys would be??

Zimmerman S/S 2011/12 collection...

One of my fav labels Zimmerman really upped the anti with their new S/S 2011/12 collection that opened at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. The collection was looking very different to the usual sexy beach vibe the brand is known for. Instead, it had more of a day-night feel to it. With more feminine styling, lots of lace texture, gorgeous fabrications and stunning silhouettes.

"I drove everyone crazy with this collection," said designer Nicky Zimmermann, referring to the airy yet labour-intensive looks that consisted mostly of geometric panelling and handworked lace effects that she admits pushed her production team to the limits. "I did want to do something quite different with the season and create a fresh new feeling, at the same time this had touches from when we first started with the lace and the sharpness of the silhouettes."

ok, let me take a big breath, phew... i didn't get my socks off (pardon the pun) just once by jeffrey campbell....no no, more like 6 or 7 times. unfortunately for me this man knows how to push lots of girls buttons, as all of the styles i wanted were sold out

ebay web cam video bidding??

this is not a good day...

1- I took the day off to look at a wedding dress (shop not open)

2- I got laughed at by a guy trying to change over my electricity package at my front door (and he was laugh worthy just looking at him)

3- I got outbid on an amazingly cheap sass and bide dress at the last minute on ebay (definitely not good for my anger problem)

I think they should make ebay bidding avail with webcams..i want to see who i'm up against, and when the victory is yours you should be able to laugh and snicker straight at them and run around on you bed screaming 'i won'.

 i also believe that this would make ebay more money. i would definitely have increased my maximum bid in fear of that moment happening. instead of sitting here in an amazing bright red sass and bide dress, i am sitting here in my harem pants (my 'cool' trackies) and ugg boots blogging about crap like this...

the only thing that can make this better? I'll bid on another one
