this is truly an amazing photo!

if you haven't heard or seen this yet. a riot broke out in Vancouver over an ice hockey game, police were trying to intervene and knocked this poor girl to the ground, her boyfriend ( yes that's right- an aussie) jumped down to comfort her and to tell her everything would be ok when a photographer snapped this shot.

I prefer thinking they were making the most of a bad situation so that's what i'm still rollin with. either way, do we have a pippa middleton in the making?

well, the little black dress has been a staple in every girls wardrobe for quite some time. though we are now seeing the re-emurgence of the little white dress...the question at hand, which do you prefer and why?

'pamela love' for topshop...

for those who regularly read my blog you would know how much i adore pamela love jewellery. unfortunately for me her prices don't allow me to show my love by wearing it, i simply admire from afar.

 however now she has done a line of jewellery for topshop at much more affordable prices. the collection is inspired by 1970's gypsy rockers and definitely has a different vibe to her usual pieces.

though the price reduction i feel comes at a cost (the detail isn't 100% there). i feel it would still be a crime if i didn't purchase at least one thing

shrek the clever sheep...dodging haircuts for 6 years

everybody meet shrek the sheep

shrek went missing years ago and was found in 2004 after being hiding out in a cave for quite some time. when they found him, he was weighed down by a whopping 27 kilo fleece. i guess this time the rhyme was correct, when they sheered him they literally got 3 baaags full ;-)

he became a sensation, childrens books were even written about him.

poor shrek died last weekend, this is in his memory

no it's not vertical planking...

Natsumi Hayashi isn't just a sweet-looking Japanese girl. she, very randomy one day, decided to take self-portraits...of herself... levitating. (no it's not called vertcial planking ) she can be spotted in and around Tokyo, equipped with her SLR and her self-timer. when she feels the moment strike, she presses the shutter button down and then, quite literally, "jumps" into place. 

i love that her shots don't feel forced, she really has a way of making you feel as though she naturally levitates throughout life
