OFF THE RADAR..

firstly peeps i must apologize...for allowing myself to be lazy and not sharing all of the things that inspire me. it has actually taken some of you to contact me and remind me that people really do read my blog and that it's not only an outlet for my thoughts and passions, it's something that other people get enjoyment out of. well so they tell me.. 

so in a nutshell i'm going to get you all up to full speed as to what's been going on in my world...

I'M PREGNANT....and well that about sums it up. I have resorted to sitting on the couch obsessing over my millions of favourite tv shows while reading baby mags in the ad breaks-something i never pictured myself doing!

I must say i do feel a little out of the loop, rather than shopping for myself ( a very bad habit while trolling the internet to find cool things to blog about) I've been buying both funny and cute baby items. though it has been rather nice having a project to work on: the nursery. so stay tuned for pics of that when i'm done, i promise it will be worth the wait..

i'm going to leave you with something that put a big cheesy smile on my face when i was shown on the weekend at my best friends baby shower. i promise that i won't be only posting baby things now, there will be plenty more 'coco loves' goodies coming your way.

a change of game plan..

after deciding it was time to *rearrange my wardrobe- *by rearrange i mean pull the vintage dresses to the front and the heavy jackets to the back, certainly not throw anything out.. I have had to rethink my game plan. after another day of being inappropriately dressed, i decided that instead of looking ahead towards summer, i would live more in the moment and re-embrace the cold.

lucky for me the lovely etsy store royal windsor knits made this a very easy decision. after purchasing my new turquoise bow knitted scarf, i am ready for winter again, let's just hope the weather now decides not to change plans too!

the great escape..

i always considered myself a woman who practiced what i preached, though sadly over the past few years i allowed my working life to become..well how can i say this...f**king stale!

i am usually one of the first to tell people to follow their dreams and surround themselves by things that make them happy, it's one of the great things my wise mother drilled into me over the years, that i naively thought had stuck. needless to say, it well and truly struck a chord when i realised that i was so far from possessing the very quality i myself tried to instil in all those around me.

since may this year when my dream wedding became a reality, i realized my passion and talent lies in styling. it's always been more of a hobby than anything until now. i have always questioned my ability even though deep down knowing i had an eye for it.

i am proud to announce that i am well and truly in the process of starting a business in event/wedding styling. (cue applause) 

though it is yet to be launched (stay tuned peeps, it's not far away) i decided that it was necessary to submerge myself in a more creative role during the day and not just save this as a guilty pleasure for after hours. *the plan was to make up for lost time.

so i finally did it, today is my last day in my old role- somewhere i have outgrown. though i appreciate everything i have learned and the friendships i have made, it's my time to escape. escape to somewhere i can let my creative juices flow in a constant stream and challenge myself yet again

i encourage you all to do the same.

my followers ongoing support astounds me! seeing over 30,000 hits on my blog brings me more joy than singing the entire song 'never ever' by all saints when i'm drunk with my girlfriends (at the top of my lungs of course)

the secret..

i've always been somewhat of a skeptic when i hear about love at first sight...i am now admitting to being insanely naive.

i cannot stop thinking about these amazing jeffery campbells, i have been waiting patiently for them to come back into stock but so far have not had the long awaited email hit my inbox. (no matter how many times i refresh...refresh...refresh)

'the secret' told me that when you think positive thoughts, good things come your way. positivity is now oozing out of my pores in order to get these puppies on my feet.

you guys know how much i love spreading the love when i stumble across something amazing. well it's time i share neon indian shop with you all and not keep it all to myself. i have been following their blog for some time and now they have just launched an incredible on line store selling handbags, clutches, keyrings, cushions, candles and more.
