we've all seen them come and go over the years, but yes, they are back, just like die hard. WITH VENGENCE!
though there are many fashion looks we as women, latch onto, there is something about the boyfriend jean that is strangely more appealing than we consciously realize
ladies... have you ever done any of the below:
- wear your dads massive shoes around the house when you were young?
- wear your mans tee shirt/shirt as a nightie, and loved it that little bit more if you could smell his cologne on it?
- wear your mans underwear to work for a day, or at least around the house?
- remember owning a pair of baggy surf jeans when you were in your late teens and wearing them with a tight tank like you actually were Rachel from friends..(and yes, we all had the haircut to match)
- accepted an offer to wear a mans jacket even if you weren't that cold, just cos it made you feel nice and loved
if you answered yes to any of the above (i know you all did) then i think you understand the appeal with the boyfriend jean.
besides the fact that they are by far the most comfy jean on the market, there is something so comforting about wearing them that makes it even more enjoyable than knowing your pulling them off more than the girl trying to rock them just ahead of you..
when i wear them, i get the same feeling as remembering all of the times i wore my dads shoes..mmm now to find some maternity boyfriend jeans
a little added bonus is knowing that most guys prefer tight jeans on us ladies..it's nice to keep some things to the imagination at times..
